East Lothian Summer Series 2011

Haddington, Dunbar, Musselburgh Running Clubs and JogScotland in East Lothian are hosting a series of Fun Run Handicap Events during the summer. If you estimate your 5k or 10K time to us, we will work out your handicap mark. The slower competitors start at the front the faster at the back. The idea is that everyone should finish together. This event is open to all levels.

Entry for this Wednesday is £1. If you pay £3 you can run all six. Your best 4 runs will count towards your final finishing position. On 18th August the final fun run take place with a BBQ & Prizes to follow at John Muir Country Park.

Dates for this year are:

Wednesday 1^st, June, Haddington Meet at Aubigny Sports Centre at 6:45pm Distance approx 5K (3.1 miles)

Tuesday 21st June, Dunbar (Time and meeting point to be confirmed)

Thursday 30th June, Longniddry (hosted by George Armstrong / JogScotland) (Time and meeting point to be confirmed)

W/C 18th July (Date TBC), ELT probably at North Berwick

Tuesday 2nd August, Musselburgh (Time and meeting point to be confirmed)

Thursday 18th August, Dunbar (plus BBQ) (Time and meeting point to be confirmed)
